Meet the Advisers
All staff are hand-picked, trained and qualified to become experienced industry professionals continually receiving ongoing support and training. Elite Financial is deeply committed to continuous improvement. In order to offer top quality service to our clients, we invest heavily in staff development and training, keeping abreast of sector developments by attending specialist conferences.
Ross is very proud of developing and enhancing Elite Financial since he joined the Company in 2007 and became a Director of the business in 2012.
His passion is advising his clients, in a professional but relaxed manner that puts people at ease. Following his Financial Service degree, Ross spent over 9 years as a Wealth Manager with various life companies and financial institutions and is therefore extremely familiar with the issues that individuals and businesses face in terms of legislation and planning. His clients include:
- People from all professions and trades
- From all age groups
- Financial Brokers
- Business owners and executives many of whom are currently requiring assistance in establishing new company pension schemes in line with recent legislation
Ross is a dedicated family man to his wife and two young boys, Thomas and Benjamin. Outside of work he enjoys nothing more than kicking a football with his kids or taking them for walks around the New Forest.
Phil has been working in Financial Services for over twenty-five years and has been one of the driving forces of Elite Financial as a Director since its inception in 1999. Phil has been helping people achieve their goals and objectives by advising on and arranging their mortgage and associated protection needs. Together with helping make their money work harder and maximising their income in retirement.
Phil wants to help people on their journey to own property and protect what really matters to them. If you think he may be able to help you or anyone else you know of, then please contact him.
When Phil isn’t working he enjoys the countryside including clay pigeon shooting and is a member of the Ambassadors big band. He also enjoys spending quality time with his family and grandchildren.
Peter has been working in the Financial Services Industry for 27 years, his career began in 1989 when he joined Pearl Assurance as an Adviser working his way up to District Manager.
Peter was one of the original Directors involved in the inception of Elite Financial in 1999. He has remained one of the driving forces behind Elite Financial’s ongoing success. Peter’s many duties include being responsible for compliance, sales management, staff training and all whilst still servicing his existing and new clients.
He is passionate about helping clients make some of the most important decisions of their lives regarding their and their family’s financial future.
Peter has recently taken partial retirement and now splits his time between working seeing Clients and relaxing with his wife at their home in Spain. His quest for knowledge has not decreased having hit the grand old age of 65 and he is currently learning Spanish to assist him in being able to order food and drink more easily!
Jason joined Elite Financial in 2009, and holds the Certificate in Mortgage Planning and Diploma in Financial Planning qualifications.
He is very passionate about assisting clients with a range of financial solutions from obtaining finance for purchasing a home, to enhancing wealth through retirement planning and investments. He has been successful in helping people achieve their dreams and financial goals for many years.
Jason is a family man with 2 young children who keep him busy when he’s not working. He is also a keen follower of the local football team AFC Bournemouth.
Cheryl has worked in the Financial Services Industry for 29 years. This wealth of experience includes having been an Area Manager for a leading building society and 11 years combining the roles of a stockbroker and previously having been an Independent Financial Adviser. Cheryl has been part of Elite Financial since 2012 and is passionate about helping clients plan their financial futures to achieve their desired outcomes.
Cheryl enjoys travelling and is a keen gardener. She also has a rescued cat who is quite demanding.
Debbie has over 30 years’ experience in the Finance industry, having worked her way through as a cashier to management and then onto advising. Debbie is passionate about advising, helping people achieve their goals for the future and protecting their families.
Debbie started at Elite Financial in 2013 after working for 18 years for Nationwide Building Society. Debbie felt her true potential and qualifications were not being achieved in a single tie environment and wanted to be able to access more for her clients.
Debbie’s motto is ‘treat the client how she would like to be treated’, this has bought her great success and referrals from existing clients. Debbie’s main aim is to keep her clients up to date and take them on a life cycle of financial advice.
Debbie’s interests include walking her Dog, gardening, socialising and best of all looking after her grandson, Charlie.
Andrew thrives on helping clients secure their future financial well-being by advising them on their investments, pensions, mortgages and protection.
Being an adviser provides Andrew the opportunity to develop a professional and personal lifetime bond with clients helping them to make some of the most important decisions of their lives regarding their and their family’s financial future.
Andrew always strives to provide his clients with the kind of service they would expect from a friend or family member, which in turn rewards him as much as it does them. They know that he is ‘on call’ any day of the week and they are confident that he always, ALWAYS advises the suitable course of action for THEM and puts THEIR needs at the centre of everything he does.
Andrew has over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services industry and has been recognised many times over the years for the outstanding levels of customer service that he has provided; Andrews personal mantra is that ‘I don’t treat the customer like a king, I treat them like my Mum. And trust me, I do love my Mum!!!’
Andrew has a very active life and openly encourages his colleagues to join him for games of squash.
David joined Elite Financial in 2015 having worked in the financial planning and banking industry for over 40 years. David’s career began in Barclays Bank, then worked for The Royal Bank of Scotland before becoming the Financial Adviser for Hamptons Estate Agents in Hampshire and Surrey. In 1998, David became part of a financial planning practice in Fleet until he joined Elite. His extensive knowledge and determination allows David to get the right outcome for the customers’ needs and objectives. He has a wealth of experience and if he cannot assist he will know a person who can.
David enjoys messing about in boats. He is also an Official at Powerboat races including the legendary Cowes to Torquay powerboat race. He has always been a competitive sportsperson and his knowledge of cricket is only second to his knowledge on James Bond (who he really thinks he is!!)
Nicky has been in the Financial Services Industry now for over 13 years and joined Elite Financial in 2015.
Nicky puts her Clients’ interests first and prides herself on getting to know what they want out of life; what their financial goals are and how she can help realise them. She understands that financial needs change and therefore will always communicate to her customers in a way that is clear, fair and not misleading. She believes it is essential to have the flexibility to adapt to changes in her client’s circumstances and aspirations. Nicky’s objective is to ensure her client’s peace of mind by advising on:
- Protect current & future lifestyle
- Maximising opportunities to accumulate and preserve wealth
- Enjoying the fruits of their investments when the time comes
She is hugely involved in her local Triathlon Club, supporting her husband and close friends in their sporting endeavours. She will often be found marshalling races in the pouring rain cheering everybody on!
Adam joined Elite Financial in 2014 straight from University having studied Business Management and taking particular interest in Financial Services. He has since developed knowledge and experience in order to advise his clients to the best of his ability.
Adam believes his profession is essential in assisting clients to purchase the right property whether as a first time buyer or an experienced landlord building his portfolio. His clients include:
- Business owners, Sole traders and Professionals
- Individuals looking to move home or source a more competitive mortgage
- Individuals looking to purchase an investment property or start a portfolio
- First time buyers looking to get onto the property ladder
In his free time Adam enjoys playing tennis and squash. He is also an avid reader and a big Star Wars fan.
Josh joined Elite Financial in 2014 as an apprentice sales support administrator. Since that time, he has successfully completed the following industry qualifications in financial protection, financial regulation and mortgage advice (R05, CF1 and CF6). He now specialises in providing Mortgage and Protection advice as well general insurance.
Josh finds his job very challenging and rewarding and he gains great satisfaction knowing that he is able to assist clients in what might be the most complex transaction of their lives.
Outside of work, Josh is a keen musician and enjoys participating in lots of sports. He is an avid supporter of AFC Bournemouth, holding a season ticket and aims to get to as many matches as he can.
Meet the Support Team
Rachel has worked in the Financial Services Industry since 1988 and joined Elite in 2016 after a successful career with Barclays Bank. Rachel has been both a Mortgage Adviser and Financial Adviser before spending the last 13 years in Learning & Development. She holds the Certificate in Mortgage Planning and the Diploma in Financial Planning qualifications.
Rachel is responsible for the smooth running of the team and is passionate about excellent customer service. Her main duties comprise of compliance, sales management and team development.
Outside of work, Rachel loves to travel and has visited over 30 countries. She also enjoys interior design, DIY, gardening and spending time at her beach hut enjoying the sunshine.
Rhea joined Elite Financial in 2013 as an Apprentice Sales Support Administrator. She has now been promoted to Office Manager and her role is overseeing the mortgage administration team and processing protection applications on behalf of the Advisers.
Rhea completed Business Admin Level 2 and now holds two appropriate industry qualifications in mortgage advice and financial protection (CF6 & R05). She is also currently completing a Diploma in Management and Leadership Level 5. Rhea thoroughly enjoys her job at Elite and finds it very rewarding, she has already trained up two other apprentices in sales support roles.
Rhea recently got engaged whilst on a trip to Venice and is now looking forward to planning her wedding. In her free time she enjoys going to gym, going on holiday and meals out with family and friends.
Emma has been working in Financial Services for 13 years and joined Elite Financial in 2006 as a Mortgage Adviser holding CeMap 1, 2 and 3.
Emma pursued further qualifications and became a Paraplanner holding the CeFap qualification following maternity leave when she had her son. Working within the pensions and investment admin team she now manages all of our client accounts held across the platforms, submits business on behalf of all our advisers and manages all Client reviews and periodic reports.
Emma enjoys swimming in her free time and this is an interest she shares with her son who has recently be selected to swim for Poole Swimming Club. She also actively supports the local youth football team for which her son plays and her husband coaches. She enjoys regular visits to the cinema.
Victoria joined Elite Financial in 2014 and has been working in Financial Services since 2005. Victoria previously worked as a Financial Adviser and Stockbroker. She now utilises her experience paraplanning and carrying out research within the Pensions and Investment team. She thrives on finding solutions to meet clients’ needs.
She holds a diploma in Financial Planning and Certificate in Mortgage Planning.
Victoria is a proud mum to Gabriella. In her spare time she enjoys salsa dancing and cooking healthy homemade foods, whilst also finding the time to deal with her large cat with attitude called Diesel.
Investment and Pensions Administrator
Catherine joined Elite Financial at the start of 2016 as an Account Manager based within the pension and investment administration team. Catherine previously worked with estate agents as a qualified Mortgage Adviser. With her background in customer service she assists in implementing Elite’s marketing strategy.
Outside of work Catherine and her family are actively involved in their local karate club and she is also a Governor at her children’s school and Chair of the PTA. She also has two dogs called Kevin and Bob as her kids love the minions!
Investment and Pensions Administrator
Katie joined Elite Financial in June 2016 as an apprentice in a pension and investments administration support role. Her apprenticeship course finished in 2017, and she is now continuing in her role as part of the Elite team.
Katie finds this job role very rewarding and it gives her opportunities to constantly develop her skills. She is looking forward to continuing her ongoing training and studying towards her CeFap qualification.
Katie is a shopaholic and enjoys discovering new shopping outlets. She also enjoys going for bike rides, and socialising with her friends.
Julie has a background in sales and customer service and many years’ administration experience achieved before joining Elite Financial in April 2013. She has progressed within the company to become a full time Account Manager assisting the Financial Advisers in all aspects of mortgage and protection administration. Her role is varied but mainly involves overseeing the mortgage application process.
Julie enjoys keeping fit by attending Zumba and dance classes.
Sales Support Administrator
Ellie joined Elite Financial in September 2015 as an apprentice in a mortgage sales support role. Her apprenticeship course finished in 2016, and she is now continuing in a Sales Support role as part of the Elite team.
Ellie finds this job role very rewarding and it gives her opportunities to constantly develop her skills. She actively liaises between all the relevant parties involved with getting mortgages to the completion stage.
Ellie enjoys going on holiday, going to the gym and socialising with her friends.
Sales Support Administrator
Brenda has been working for Elite Financial for the past 16 years in Sales Support. Her role is a conduit between client, mortgage lender and solicitor during the complex stages of a house purchase or re-mortgage. When the mortgage offers are produced she then calls the solicitors and updates our Clients until completion has taken place. Brenda finds her role very rewarding and enjoys working with a great team. She has a great deal of knowledge and is always willing to help train younger members of the team. Brenda takes on a great motherly role to all the staff at Elite Financial and spoils us all with biscuits on a regular basis.
Brenda is very active and enjoys walking, pilates and gardening.
